A self-confessed child of the sixties he began his carer in the Rock'n'roll years and after fronting local Manchester groups The Javelins and The Emperors of Rhythm and appearing with The beatles, The Searchers, The Kinks, Johnny Kidd and The Pirates, The Hollies, & the Mindbenders.
Paul then joined Belfast recording group The Banshees and made hia first hit record 'Yes Indeed' on Columbia, which was a minor hit in Ireland,
and where he made his first TV appearances on The Showband Show (Telefis Eirrean) and The Tonight Show (ulster TV).
Paul was then approached by Austrailian Cabaret and recording group The Gibsons and released 'Two Kinds of Lovers' on the new DERAM label, and was featured in TV appearances on Juke Box Jury and on Pete Marray's Action with Paul Anka, Elstree studios
He Then had his first hit record in 1968, Which was a Greenaway/Cookie number 'Magic Book' (Deram) which reached No.16 in the pop charts and sold over 25,000 copies
Paul Stevens, known as 'the singers singer', sings classic renditions of songs by Michael Buble, Barry Manilow, Jack Jones, Neil Sedaka & Bobby Darin, and will be concluding with the very best of 50's and 60's music and Rock'n'Roll featuring music of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson Eddie Cochran, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and Many more.
