My name is Karen Gilmore and I have been singing and performing for the last 15 years, both as a solo act and as lead vocal for various bands. I have travelled countrywide during this time, entertaining audiences large and small and in most situations, including festivals, corporate and charity events and the many pub and club circuits of the nation together with the odd radio appearance and numerous studio sessions. My journey has taken me through thick and thin, but this has been both an essential and memorable learning curve, during which time I have truly served my apprenticeship which has given me the chance to experience the 'buzz' of being an entertainer - a skill that develops with time and can always be improved and perfected. I do consider myself to be versatile, having performed songs from most genres to include rock, country, blues and jazz. I have also had the privilege of working with many professional musicians along the way and would like to thank all who have supported me during this time and here's to many more years to come.
