Lulu studied classical ballet from the age of 3 to 18 years old obtaining RAD qualifications, and studied Jazz Ballet in her late teens.
She has professional teacher status having obtained a B.E.d (hons) in Dance at Middlesex University from 1984 -1988.
There she studied ballet, contemporary dance, jazz ballet, world dances, such as African and Egyptian dance, jive and Lindy hop, notation, choreography and the history of dance, She choreographed many solo and group dances and performed regularly at university shows.
Lulu then worked as an independent dance teacher, of Egyption belly dance, jazz and modern techniques.
She performed as a showgirl dancer in some exciting venues in London, including the Raymond
Review bar during the late 1980s early 1990’s. Lulu travelled Europe working as a showgirl dancer
in troupes and in solo acts, working in Oslo, Paris, Milan, and Athens.

Now Lulu has returned to teach her skills of dancing within the beautiful art of Burlesque. Lulu uses her skills and
talents as a professional dancer and choreographer to produce creative, glamorous, cheeky and fun routines all
with the utmost of tease! With her knowledge of dance history, choreography and her work in theatre and showgirl
dancing, Lulu is bringing authentic, classy, showgirl burlesque to Essex!
She trains all the girls in her shows, choreographs all the routines, directs and performs too!
Lulu is available for private lessons, birthday/hen parties.
She is also available for hire as a choreographer for other cabaret, showgirl, burlesque and variety shows
