I had my first guitar lesson at the age of 6 from Johnny Horton. I grew up on the Louisiana Hayride.
My hero's were my Uncle the late

I have played in NCO clubs on many bases around the world.
I have also preformed in various retirement homes for the love of entertaining and putting smiles on someones face, played in
a few night clubs here and there...I have settled in to focus on my music and writing my songs, I am curently working on some new material
and in the process of getting some of my music recorded.
I have a New CD 'The Best of Eddie Ray' available from CD Baby
which I co-wrote songs with Bo Gerbig
Jr. , Tillman Ben Franks Jr. , the late Michael Benning and my brother John R. Franks.
