Jacqui has spent 15 years perfecting the show to the standard it is today, paying special attention to every detail from the gowns to the songs and perfecting the voice to a sound that has people wondering if it is Shirley herself singing.
Even working closely alongside people who know Shirley Bassey to make sure every detail is correct, from Phil Hinton Shirley Bassey's studio MD, Annie Galbraith who was commissioned to make seventy gowns for Shirley Bassey, and the one and only Danny La Rue who had been a personal friend of Miss Bassey for some years, who met Jacqui back in the 90's and helped her put the show on a higher level.
The material used for the gowns are selected from the finest reels and mostly sent from the USA, as with the feathers used for the amazing capes used by Jacqui to perfect the look.
Jacqui's work has taken her to visit places like Germany, Italy, Prague, Hungary, and America where she returned in January 2011 to work along side "The South Florida Symphony Orchestra" and the very talented "Phil Hinton" - ticket sales sold out. A return visit is in the making for Feb/March 2012.
